Mark D. Johnson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a CERTIFIED KINGDOM ADVISOR® professional. He has been helping individual investors, charities, foundations, trusts, and companies manage money for over 35 years.

Mark is recognized for his experience in estate planning and charitable gifting. Over the years, several national charities have retained Mark to provide charitable gifting and estate planning for their members.

Mark has presented numerous estate planning seminars around the country and has been a speaker at several conferences. He has authored articles for newspapers, professional magazines, and charity publications.

He is the President of Fountain Financial Group, Inc. a registered investment advisory firm. Mark carefully designs portfolios that match each client’s level of risk. He uses relative strength to try and select the best stocks in the best sectors and when the markets indicate weakness, he reduces his client’s exposer to stocks.

Mark is a graduate of North Dakota State University and the College for Financial Planning. He is a member of Financial Planning Association, National Association of Christian Financial Consultants, the Kingdom Advisors and the Gideon's International. He has a Series 66 registration and life and health insurance license.

Mark is married and has three adult children and five granddaughters and six grandsons. He enjoys golfing and fishing.

Will Walpole

Financial Advisor

H. Will Walpole is an advisor who has focused on managing money for individuals and other advisors for the past 20 years. He utilizes fundamental and technical analysis (Point & figure Charting). He has concentrated on helping individuals with retirement plans, especially 401(k) and 403(b), because so many people were not actively managing their largest asset.

He continues to educate other financial professionals and clients on point and figure charting, relative strength and the law of supply and demand. His goal is to help others understand investing to achieve their lifetime goals.

Will is a graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in History. After graduation he served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Major. Completing Airborne training and earning the Ranger Tab are highlights of his service time. He has taken the discipline and planning that he learned in the military and applies those principles to manage clients’ investment and developing their financial plans.

He is a member of Kingdom Advisors, a group of financial professionals offering financial advice based on biblical principles. Additionally, he supports organizations, like Eternal Perspectives, that focus on spreading the gospel.

He is married and has two adult children. Learning more about the Lord is a major part of his life.

Robert (Bob) Ward

Retirement Income Planner

Robert (Bob) Ward has held senior level planning positions for over forty years. He concentrates on the issues that help people lead a worry-free retirement. Distribution, tax and estate planning issues are the major areas of Bob’s focus.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education from the University of Wisconsin – Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He has held senior level planning positions with three fortune 500 companies and one Minnesota state agency. He has led the creation and development of three startup ventures.

Bob was one of the first persons in the United States to complete the “Retirement Income Certified Professional”(RICP) designation, which focuses on current strategies that will assist individuals on how to live a worry-free retirement. He also has his Chartered Financial Consultant(ChFC) and Certified Long Term Care Consultant (CLTC) designations and is licensed to sell life and health products.

Bob has led international Habitat for Humanity Builds to eight countries on the six different continents that Habitat for Humanity serves. He is a former board member for the University of Wisconsin – Stout Foundation, Hennepin Technical College Foundation, and has mentored a young man for over eight years through the Kids “N” Kinship program. He has been married for over 40 years to Shelley, and they have three grown children and two grandchildren, who all live in the Twin Cities.

Alex is a dedicated professional in client administration within the financial industry, with over 17 years of experience at Fountain Financial Group. Previously, Alex worked at Wells Fargo and also owned a business, bringing a wealth of knowledge to client service and financial solutions. Married with five children, Alex is passionate about sports and family, balancing a successful career with quality time spent with loved ones. Known for a strong commitment to excellence, Alex continues to thrive in a dynamic and ever-evolving industry.

Mary G. Johnson

Secretary/Treasurer

Mary G. Johnson currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer of Fountain Financial Group and brings over 25 years of experience to the team.

Mary provides impeccable internal administrative support as well as client management and servicing. Previously, Mary worked for the American Heart Association assisting in fundraising and deferred giving support. She also has also held a position for a major health insurance company for fifteen years in client service and marketing.

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her five granddaughters and six grandsons. She enjoys hiking, golfing, photography and spending time with her beautiful family.
